LEAVE ON MISSION TRIP
Well, they are half way through their experience now and I am sure they
are having a great time. Seven youth and two adults from Elim are in
Kansas City, MO for the week, serving with Youth Works. They are working with two other church mission
groups to assist with community projects. They may visit the elderly
in nursing homes, beautify a park, work with children or anything else
they are asked to do. The youth of Elim worked for months
to raise enough money to go on this trip and are very excited about what
they will be doing. Please pray for them as they become the hands
and feet of Christ in Kansas City.
HAVE
A GREAT SUMMER BUT REMEMBER ELIM
Summers in Duluth are very short and the opportunities to get out and
enjoy the wonderful northland are few. So when you have a chance, go
for it. Enjoy God's wonderful lakes and woods. Hit the golf
courses or just sit out on the deck with a glass of ice tea. But as
you are taking in the wonder of summer please also remember to continue to
support the ministry of your church. Summer months are often
difficult for churches financially. So as you celebrate God's
wonderful outdoors say thanks by remaining faithful in your tithes and
offerings. Thanks.
