A Greeting From The Pastor

For over a century Elim Lutheran Church has served the people of West Duluth. What began as a small ethnic congregation ministering to the needs of Swedish immigrants, has grown into a large, vital and diverse ministry serving the needs of all people. Over the past few years Elim Lutheran Church has made a conscious decision to reach out to all people, of every age, with the message of Jesus Christ. Some of the ways we are attempting to accomplish this goal is through; using alternative worship experiences like our annual Polka Service, designating the first Sunday of each month as Mission Sunday, encouraging our youth to take an active role in all aspects of the ministry of the church, and growing a strong lay ministry program. As pastor I welcome you and invite you to join us as we move forward in ministry at Elim Lutheran Church.
