  • Lutheran World Relief

  • The West Duluth Ministerial Emergency Fund

Task Forces & Committees

Elim has multiple opportunities for you to use your skills and interests to direct our ministry into the future.  Worship & Music, Education, Social Ministry, Outreach, Property, Membership, Youth and Business Management are just some of the structured ways Elim is seeking God's direction.  There is a place for everyone to serve God at Elim.

Elim Foundation

Elim's Foundation is organized to support and grow Elim's ministry.  It's charter directs it to provide seed money for new ministry projects, to support Elim's outreach into the community and to provide an opportunity for Elim to explore creatively new avenues of ministry that it otherwise might not financially be able to.

Food might not be the first thing people think of when they thing of ministry but it has become one of Elim's most successful outreach opportunities.  Throughout the year Elim serves:

  • Wild Game Dinner in January

  • Lutheran Hot Dish Cookoff in the Spring

  • Soup Suppers during Lent

  • Home Cooked meals each Wednesday Evening during WNW, and

  • Lutefisk Dinner in December
